Thompson Wedding

It was indeed a pleasure to cover this very special wedding day.

But is also became an bit of an adventure when the brand new memory card I had recently purchased for this occasion malfunctioned (defective) during the segment where I was to be doing a photoshoot for the newly weds at the park. There they were, looking amazing... and my memory card for the second segment was useless....

Luckily! I had decided to bring my laptop that day and card reader which were waiting in the car. As I used a slower back-up card, my nephew (who was assisting me that day) monitored my laptop as the photos from earlier in the day were uploaded. His monitoring of the uploading allowed me to remained professional and on task to ensure that the positive energy remained and to keep the shoot moving along.

After about 15 minuets of internal turmoil using my slower back-up memory card (but not slowing down the shoot due to the impending rain...) my regular memory card became available and I continued shooting.

Thankfully, the rain was held back and we were able to create some wonderful compositions for the Bride and Groom without worry.
